of competition by its original owner but has only been used occasionally by its
second owner over the past eight years.
It runs extremely well, has no dents on the rims, and has a crisp throttle
response. There is a rock-hopper exhaust (as well as the standard) for even
snappier throttle response on more specialised competition courses. The bike
still has its original lighting wiring loom (bulbs and other parts included in
package).
The machine comes with a range of spare and tools, and set-up notes, to ensure
many more years of trouble-free competition.

2 spare Michelin tyres plus 3 inner tubes, a puncture repair kit and levers,
etc. as well as a genuine Yamaha factory 14psi air gauge.
Bodywork: 3 new front mudguards, spare seat and “rockhopper”-spec rear guard (to
conserve standard rear guard in extreme conditions), range of rubber fittings
(such as cable-lever covers, grommets, handlebar grips, seals, mounting bungs,
etc)
Controls: spare set of handlebars with end plugs, selection of
brake/clutch/gear/kick start levers, brake pads, shoes, springs, etc.
Driveline: sprockets, O-ring chain and links, various ancillary parts.
Induction-exhaust: Spare air filter, range of carb jets, seals and parts, new
reed valve, “rock-hopper”-“stinger” exhaust system (loud!).
Specialist tools: fork-seal extractors, sprocket pullers, tyre-changers, factory
14psi air-pressure gauge, suspension adjuster lever and much more.
Also included in the sale is a genuine factory Yamaha riding jacket (never used)
with body armour and detachable lining (winter-summer) and a magazine road test
of this year’s model.
